  Ting & his staff always go out of their way to provide a great ambiance and good food. I had my 50th Birthday Party there with an 80's band & everything was perfect! Thank you Ting!! Thank you to the staff as well!!

  I'm sorry, but the food is not worth the price. Everyone in our group was extremely disappointed in everything we got. I was very excited to try the stuffed cheese burger. The bun was burnt. I sent it back and the buns were cold. Extremely dry burger. I couldn't even see any cheese stuffed in there. Terrible. Steak meat was not good quality. Pasta had no taste. Only thing we somewhat liked were the appetizers. The artichoke dip was good and some like the calamari.
  
  Oh, and apparently they only believe in toasting one side of bread. Every single piece of bread we had was toasted to a burn on one side and completely white on the other. Such a joke.
  
  Servers were kind. It's not their fault the food is overpriced for the quality. I would rather have a fast food burger than this garbage. In N Out is a thousand times better and that's sad.
  
  Try some other sit down restaurant. Man, I really wanted to give a good review for a local place.

  First time in a long time and it didn't disappoint.  The ambience was good, the food was good, the service was good and its a nice change from the "big box chain" restaurants that are up and down Colusa Highway.  
  
  We will definitely go back when friends come to town.

  God bless you Ting!!! Made my Birthday a day I will cherish always! Your Restaurant is and has been one of my favorites since my prom in 1987! One of the classiest and most funnest but never in my life had I ever thought The Refuge could have gotten better !! The food was excellent ! The service with a prompt serve and smile was priceless!! The atmosphere with people were classy and cheerful and Ting you made us feel at home and extra special by coming Over to meet all of us although you already had known some of our guests for years you made us feel extra special you went out of your way to entertain and wish me A beautiful heartfelt birthday! Thank you so much !!!

  If you're looking for a fat, delicious juicy burger with or without cheese I recommend Ting's Refuge. They grind their own beef fresh daily. Has a great bun too that holds up to the size and juiciness of the burger. If you like it rare as I do, or even medium pink, to well done, they won't disappoint. They have it down and comes with fries and a priced that would surprise you. I've also had their monetary chicken sandwich, its been amazing also each time I've tried it!
